I have just installed my brand new Gateway Five (GWF1PC1) device into my RD4 system but I can't reach the phone menu via the car stereo. What should I do in order to activate this menu option on my display?

Normally the phone menu must be available from the beginning but in very rare cases this menu option is missing.

Please follow the mentioned steps below if you have this problem:

1. Turn the whole system OFF (wait till the blue LED turns OFF on the connector port) then Disconnect the Bluetooth dongle (USB BT stick) from the Gateway Five
2. Turn the ignition ON (radio & engine as well) and wait approx. 1 minute (during this time the Gateway disables the phone functions on the board)
3. Turn the whole system OFF (remove the car key) again and wait till the car goes to "sleep" mode (check the LED status on the connector port)
4. Turn the ignition ON (radio & engine as well) and wait approx. 1 minute
5. Turn the whole system OFF (remove the car key) again and wait till the car goes to "sleep" mode (check the LED status on the connector port)
6. Connect back the Bluetooth stick, then turn the ignition / engine ON. Please wait at least 1 minute
7. Turn the system OFF and wait till the car goes to low power state and finally
8. Turn the ignition ON, and check the phone menu availability on the display

If the problem still persist, please open a support ticket.

#UPDATE

Please download the latest firmware (version 0037) where the enabling procedure has been changed.
With the new firmware you just need to disconnect from the power the GWF for 30 seconds and then reconnect in order to reactivate the enabling procedure.
