Is there any way to set different volume output level of iPod or USB?

In case of Gateway Lite (except Lite MOST or D2B) the default (factory) volume setting can be changed via a USB flash drive:

Follow the steps below to change the volume settings:

1. Download the Gateway_Lite_Vol_config.zip file to your computer
2. Extract and copy the appropriate file (lcu_CFG.bin) to the root of a USB flash drive where you have one mp3 music at least, then connect it to the Gateway Lite
3. The file will be recognized automatically (installation takes maximum 5-10 seconds, when finished the first song will be audible via the car stereo)  by Gateway Lite and the new volume setting will be set. Configuration file will be deleted automatically by Gateway after its execution
4. Turn the ignition OFF, remove the car key and wait 1 minute. After 1 minute turn everything ON and test the device with the new setting
5. If the setting is not correct, please change the value and test the new setting again
